By purchasing a virtual balloon in our special 21st anniversary balloon race, you will be supporting hundreds of life-limited and life-threatened children across central southern England. Naomi House & Jacksplace first opened in 1997 and since then has cared for more than 1,114 of the most medically complex children and young people across the region.
It costs £8.5 million each year to provide this exceptionally high standard of care, and it is only thanks to businesses, individuals and groups in the communities we support that we are able to care for these very special youngsters on good days, difficult days and last days.

5 year old Mikey’s Mum shares her thoughts on Naomi House & Jacksplace:
"When we came for our first visit to Naomi House, we stayed as a family. My children think it is a holiday camp and they get so excited. Even if we go to drop Mikey off and leave him by himself, the children want to come so that they can play.
We haven’t been able to go on holiday since Mikey was born, so when Mikey stays at Naomi House it is the only time we get any respite. One of us has to be with him all the time, so we do rely on the charity a great deal.
As soon as we go in, we can put our feet up and have a cup of tea and a chat. It is just like a home from home."
Your balloon matters
Every balloon that is sold could cover the cost of an hour of highly skilled nursing care here at our state of the art hospices, near Winchester.
That hour of care could include a child’s first swim, a family’s very first chance to truly relax, a session in our amazing sensory room or a chance to make treasured keepsakes in our arts and crafts room.
Of course, that hour could be an hour in which our skilled staff can help families at the most difficult of times, and help them say goodbye to their child in a safe, supportive and comforting environment.
Every balloon that is purchased will provide an hour of nursing care that is truly transformational in a child, young person or family’s life.
Thank you for your support.
